ONE-STOP COMMUNICATIONS, MIFFLIN COUNTY WIRELESS AND TELECENTIVE ANNOUNCE MERGER

One-Stop Communications of Pa Inc., Mifflin County Wireless LLC, and Telecentive LLC are proud to announce that an agreement has been reached to merge their companies by the new year. The three companies have been working collaboratively for the last couple of years. This merger will allow the companies to better serve their customers by combining resources and services offered under one roof with a unified vision of empowering connectivity, communication, technology, and entertainment for a seamlessly integrated digital future.

The combined companies will operate as One-Stop Communications, with the Mifflin County Wireless and Telecentive brands continuing to operate as divisions of One-Stop Communications until regulatory approval and operations can be reorganized. All office and retail operations will be located in downtown Lewistown at 101 East Market Street, the current office for Mifflin County Wireless. Cody Wian will serve as the President and CEO of the company after the merger has been completed. He has expressed his excitement about combining the three companies, stating, “I am excited to bring these three great resources in our community under one roof and one team. We have operated separately over the years, and it is time that we better utilize our resources in today’s ever-competitive market. From Internet Service and business IT Solutions to residential TV service, working together as One-Stop Communications, we can be your one-stop for your technology needs.”

Michael Buffington, the founder of One-Stop Communications, will still be involved with the company, working next to Cody and staff on planning and expansion projects to serve the local community. Buffington explains some benefits as the companies combine operations: "Our three companies have been sharing resources for years. We have talented and experienced people working on similar projects. It only made sense to bring them together for a stronger company that can collaborate better as one. Just as we have done since 1996, we will continue to bring innovative technologies to the communities we live in to help residents stay connected to the world.”

The three companies are better as one. One-Stop Communications will be focused on expanding affordable high-speed internet to the area with local support and service. Their teams have been working on wireless and fiber expansion projects that will be operational in 2024. In today’s world, the internet is the backbone of many of the other services that they will support as one company, like residential and business phone service, satellite and streaming TV, managed IT services, cloud service, network security, security systems, security cameras, and more.
