The storms that rolled through the area last night caused some damage to our network, including a direct lightning strike to the tower in McVeytown. Tower and network crews worked tirelessly last night and today to restore service. A generator was deployed to our core site in Lewistown to deal with a partial power outage, and a microwave antenna had to be realigned in Belleville. Thankfully Cody at Mifflin County Wireless keeps his tower climbing gear handy. Once the storm was over and the problem was identified on the Belleville tower, he headed up to make the necessary repairs as the sun was setting to restore your internet service.
